Eaton HK Month-Long Pride Program

IT'S MORPHING TIME

To celebrate Pride Month, Eaton HK will host a month-long queer arts and cultural programs from 10 June to 22 July 2023. This year’s theme, “It's Morphing Time!”, we invite the public to embrace the power of being queer—the power of morphing born from the intersection of a vibrant mix of diverse identities that rejects traditional binary thinking in gender and sexuality and builds a fluid common ground for all.

The exhibition will feature Asian-American queer legend Kitty Tsui's personal archive and showcase 50 years of her work.

Through refugee artists and mapping local artists with storytellers, their journeys will be reinterpreted through mural arts across Hong Kong districts and showcased to the community.

Ho Yuk (Let's Love Hong Kong) (2002) is the first woman and lesbian-directed lesbian feature film to be created in Hong Kong, breaking the male gaze and stereotyped fantasies of lesbians in the local male-dominated cinema industry.
