SOPHY
SOPHY is a Hong-Kong born multi-disciplinary singer-songwriter with a unique style fusing Pop, Electronica and Soul R&B music. SOPHY opened for Moonchild (US), Rhodes (UK) and indie electronic music label Dark Paradise (TW); performed at Clockenflap (HK), Asia Music Keep Rolling Festival (TW), Zandari Festa (KR) etc. She debuted in 2016. In 2023, Sophy released her first trilingual full-length album《FLUID》as the executive producer. The 12-tracks project fuses Cantonese, Mandarin and English seamlessly and consists of a wide range of genres like Alternative, Electronic, Dance, Soul, R&B and Synth Pop etc, forming her singular and soulful music language as she continues her path on becoming one of the eclectic forces in Pop music amongst music contemporaries in Asia.
Yvette Lok Yee Wong
A Hong-Kong born pop lyricist, writer, artists, and now based in Amsterdam to complete her PhD study at the University of Amsterdam. She has published more than 120 pop lyrics since 2014. Her writings are published on Ming Pao, Zihua, City Magazine and Hong Kong Literature House. Besides, she has published lyrics for various local theatre works including Heart of Forest (2016) from Ronin Theatre, Falsettoland (2021) from Wind Mill Grass Theatre. She is the literary consultant of a divisive theatrical work Drifting (2021) by Jing Wong’s Creations. She is the Cantonese lyricist of Disney animations including Moana (2016) and CoCo (2017). She is awarded as the best lyricist in 2020 by HKMC2. She once named by Hong Kong writer Dung Kai-Cheung as the most outstanding lyricist of the new generation.
