"Quasi-bodies" Gender & Sexuality Script Reading Festival

Drawing inspiration from Jacques Rancière's concept of "quasi-bodies," “Quasi-bodies Gender & Sexuality Script Reading Festival” extends this philosophical notion to gender discourse, exploring bodily fluidity through three compelling original plays. The showcase features two local Hong Kong productions—“So Kit“ by Sam Man and “Straight Men Three-way” by Kristy Pang —both examining gender stereotypes and body politics, alongside "Ga Ting (Family)" by an overseas Asian playwright - Minh Ly, which explores the complex intersectionality of gender and cultural identity.
