We Exist: Reclaiming Voice at the Trans-Disability Intersection

This talk offers an in-depth exploration of the intersectionality between transgender and disability experiences. Joining us are Priscilla Wong, a transwoman with visually impairment who is now serving in a local church which welcomes different minority groups including the LGBT. and Hoi Jai, a deaf trans man renowned for his experience in updating gender markers on Hong Kong ID cards. The discussion will focus on how interconnected identities shape lived experiences, influence advocacy efforts, and challenge societal perceptions, while also addressing the systemic barriers faced by those at this intersection.
