PRIDE: The Closet - Expressive Art Workshop

"The closet" is a metaphor commonly used to describe the state of self-acceptance and identity expression among gender minorities, specifically in terms of coming out or remaining hidden. This event provides an opportunity for participants to delve into the connection between self-acceptance and gender identity expression. By creating a safe and inclusive space, participants can engage in genuine self-expression and meaningful communication within a small group setting.

Through visual arts, participants will have the chance to explore and express how they present their gender identity. Additionally, through installations and movement, they will experience the dynamics and connections with other participants. Finally, participants will be encouraged to share their discoveries and experiences, bringing the inspiration gained from the event back into their daily lives, fostering greater self-acceptance, and promoting societal openness towards diverse gender identities.
