Eaton House presents a monthly cacao workshop, designed and led by resident cacao artist Christina Kim of Secret Cacao Garden.

 

Workshop tickets are pay-what-you-can. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

About the Workshop:

Two-hour cacao seed to bar chocolate workshop: Led by cacao artisan Christina Kim, participants will learn the history, benefits, and uses of cacao, and take home a package of their own chocolate.

Guests will receive an unforgettable experience and unique knowledge, and their own hand crafted bean to bar chocolates.

*The workshop will take place in one of Eaton House's work spaces. Attendees new to Eaton will meet on the first floor of Eaton House (1203 K St. NW) and be escorted to the workshop by a member of the Eaton team.

About Christina Kim

Christina is a cacao artisan and alchemist, seed to bar chocolate maker, and storyteller, examining the existential question of the meaning of life, rooted in intentional living and consciousness through cacao. Her work stems from daily inspiration and gratitude for this life, ancient and modern philosophy, social justice, mysticism, spirituality, current scientific research and evidenced based practices, and her own fieldwork with cacao farmers, local farms, and local community.

Christina has a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Columbia University, BS in Nursing from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, Integrative Nutrition Wellness Coach Certification, and National Academy of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer Certification. She holds regular events as a part of her artist residency at Eaton Workshop Washington DC.
