Cut It Out: A dangerously absurd paper collage making session!

Celebrating Khadija Jahmila's work on display in the Eaton DC hotel lobby, Eaton House is presenting a series of collage sessions, led by the artist, throughout summer 2024. 

In each workshop, you are invited to reject all logic and take everything out of context. MD-based collagist Khadija Jahmila (KhadijaJahmila.com // @khadija.jahmila) will give the inside scoop on how she lets her subconscious speak through pasting cut or torn paper items to form composite works. She will distribute prompts from which participants can seek inspiration to create their own surrealist collages using provided second-hand materials! 

All are welcomed, no prior collage experience needed. 

$5 ticket to participate, paid at the door. All proceeds go directly to the artist.
