When it comes to our listening perception, the psychological Johari Window framework applies in that we all have our open, blind, hidden and unknown areas. Highlighting sonic ideas and formats that for whatever reason have festered in the underground, may not have society's collective attention, or haven’t been adequately explored is our way of illuminating the unknown. The two weekend festival would continue to be an exploration into what we felt is unheard in HK in the present day. I always fancied the idea of the festival one day growing to other Eaton properties, and being curated for what may be unheard for that particular city and audience.
Thank you to the curious, the weirdos, the hungry for making this year of UNHEARD arguably the best one yet.
