UNHEARD: A2B feat. Gilles Vanderstocken- Planète Sauvage

A2B, Eaton's ongoing vinyl-sharing series, welcomes guest speaker Gilles Vanderstocken, an architect and university teacher based in Hong Kong. He will present Alain Goraguer's 1973 soundtrack for the cult sci-fi animated film La Planète Sauvage, a record he discovered when a friend gave him a copy and he soon became obsessed with its musical complexity and hypnotic atmosphere. The soundtrack is widely considered a classic and holds legendary status in the hip-hop community, which has sampled it extensively. A lifelong musician and record collector, Vanderstocken will share his deep connection to this seminal work.
