Myofascial Release with Balls & Yin Yoga Workshop

<p><strong>Explore the rejuvenating techniques of myofascial release (MFR) in combination with Yin Yoga that will rebalance your body as we stretch, roll and release using balls (provided) and your own bodyweight to relieve tension, tightness & pain. Additionally, we will use Mindfulness Meditation tools as we hold positions and improve awareness.</strong></p><p>MFR is a great way to target specific body parts where pain is stored. Compliment your body this unique way to move energy and release tight fascia. In this workshop, we will use balls on the back, abs, hip, side waist and legs. We will discuss the differences in muscles, fascia, and joints.</p><p>This 2-hour workshop is designed to introduce tools to decrease muscle soreness & combat the wear & tear on the body of the modern lifestyle. No yoga experience is required.</p><p>In addition, we will learn more about the Yin Yoga practice and how it is used to help the joints and connective tissues to improve the function of your body. We'll also discuss mindfulness meditation and how it can be used in the practice.</p><p><strong>About the teacher:</strong></p><p>Paige Lichens (www.paigesyoga.com) E-RYT 500 Kripalu Yoga & Meditation Teacher, has also completed a 65 hour Yin Yoga training that focused on MFR with Jo Phee (who is a senior International Yin Teacher Trainer who has apprenticed under the Yin Founders Paul Grilley & Sarah Powers for the past 10 years).
